Building Workshop was asked to design a scheme to convert some very old Cotswold barns into housing.  The buildings are no longer useful for modern day farming and so the plan is to preserve them by finding a new use for the barns.  Our design for the conversion is very simple and uses all of the existing openings for windows and doors.  All original features will be kept and will retain the character of the building group.  They have a wonderful setting and will make brilliant homes.

The barns are in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.  Building Workshop’s design was granted Planning Permission in Winter 2012.
